Jack and Hitler

                   

    In Lord of the Files, a novel by William Golding, a group of boy’s planes crash onto an Island. One of the boys, Jack has the qualities of a dictator, much like Hitler. Both control people through manipulating others by, violence and limit free speech to keep their power.

    Jack and hitler both take control over people by manipulating them. Golding writes “ I gave you food said jack”(Golding,1), this shows that jack provides food for everyone so they could be influenced to join his group. By providing people with food, Jack is taking control over the boys that were in Ralph’s group. Hitler gained power by creating a common enemy in the jews. In the article History Learning site Adolf hitler it saids “his mind had become warped and his hatred of the Jews – known as anti-Semitism “ Hitler had his enemies target and ,Made Germany enemy the jews too. Most people join the Nazi [party because Hitler was against the jews. Both of them took control of their people by manipulating them.

    Both Jack and Hitler are willing to commit murder to keep their power. Golding writes “kill the beast!cut his throat!spill his blood” Jack and the boys chant while they commit the murder of simon. They usually chant to kill pigs this chant is used to threaten murder. In the article “a memorial to jewish death” it states “Hitler death camp had millions of jews,gypsies,russians and prisoners of war died in his final solution”.(2) Murder equal helped strengthened nazi regime. By committing murder to their opponents they gain more power and created fear to others.

    Hitler and Jack both limit free speech. Golding writes “The conch doesn't count on top of the mountain,' said Jack, ‘so you shut up” The conch doesnt work at castle rock because jack  doesn’t listen to it nor respect the conch. In the article”free speech and refee press around the world” it states, “citizens were completely denied all individual freedom and liberty “(3) by limiting freedom of speech hitler took control over germany and created his own rules. Both created their own rules and didn’t allow free speech to others.

    Jack and hitler both control people through violence,limit free speech and manipulating others to keep their power. When a leader takes all the power and things happen. The leader, their people and the country get destroyed.

english (story)

On the summer of June, 27 2014, I woke up because my alarm was ringing at that time I realize it was the day we were going to Disneyland. I woke up and then went to the kitchen to breakfast. My mom was cooking eggs and toast and making sandwiches for the trip. Once, I was done eating I went to my room and picked the clothe I would wear.  I picked a red shirt with black shorts, black shoes, and white socks. After, that I went inside to the shower. Then after the shower I was ready for the trip I picked up all the things I would take to the trip and headed towards Disneyland. The trip took about 4-5 hours like usual.

Once we arrived we had to go to our hotel. The hotel we stayed at was not far from Disneyland it took about 3 minutes away walking to. After, we got to the hotel we went talking to Disneyland. We had to pay for  our tickets but, at the time we payed our family split because some of us went to Disneyland and some went to California adventures. I was one of the people who went to California adventures. It was my first time going to California adventures, the last two times I came I had went to Disneyland.

We entered California adventures and my cousins and uncle wanted to go on the first ride they saw. They wanted to get on The Hollywood Tower Hotel. Everyone was talking about the ride when we were getting to the park. They said it was a free fall I didn’t know what that was. The ride was inside a building and you couldn’t really see what was going on. But later when I was waiting in the ride I saw people crying I got scare at that point. We stayed in line for about an hour and half. Once we got inside it look like a normal hotel.

We got on some seats and tied our self-up and the ride went slowly up and dropped fast I didn’t even realized what I got myself in to. I would be scare of the super shot which pretty much was like this hotel ride. I was holding onto my seat and cousin of how fast it was going I did not feel my face when we would drop. Once  we got to the top the hotel open up and we would look at the whole ride park. I started screaming and my heart was beating so fast that I had never felt it beat so fast.

When we got out I saw my little cousin that was around 11 years old at that time cry because she was so scare of the ride. I acted like I wasn’t scare but on the real I was. I calm down and started making fun of her cause she was crying. She got mad at me and started hitting while her dad just laugh. Everyone knew I was scare two because you could in my face that I was scare.

Later that night I got together with my whole family. I saw my parents and told them about the ride and how scare I really was. But that I got through it because I had no choice if I had a choice I would of probably not got on it. This experience would always stay in mind because I got scare but for the first time I overcame my fear of scary rides.

Reflection

              Something I knew about china was their city's had been over populated. I think in a couple of more year China will get over populated more then it is right now. They will get even more populated because every year there is a growth in their country. I would consider visiting China because I was to see if their factories and compare them to the one we have in the U.S.  Also want to see if their any other type of race that lives in China.
               I thought prezi was a good Idea but it was to hard to understand the way it works. I would try it but I feel it would take more time then doing a power point.  I like working with power point because it was easy and I already has experience with it. It was difficult understanding easybib because I never use it before and it was confusing on finding the type of article I had to cite. I wouldn't do anything different in this project because I think I did a good job on it and did my best on it.
            

corn field

                Victor is a tall slim guy he also has brown eyes. He is a funny man he always has funny stories to tell people. He is also very responsible with everything he agrees to. Telling stories is something he tells people the stories are very funny. Everyone likes the stories because they are catchy.

            A story victor told people one day was about him going into corn fields. He was young when he and his friends trying sneaking into corn fields. The corn fields were full of corn and they wanted some to eat for dinner. So his friends told him if he wanted to go with them to the corn fields at 6 P.M. they decided to go and steal corn. Once it was 5:50 they started walking to the fields it was dark already. In 10 minutes they got to the fields and started getting corn but the owner heard people so he went out to check and saw kids taking his corn. He went to his barn and got his dogs. His dogs started chasing victor and his friends but they were so scared that they ran so fast that the dogs couldn’t catch them up they ran for 5 minutes and then stop. The dogs stopped chasing them. They were scared because of the dogs and in those 5 minutes they got home and started cooking the corn to eat.

The New World

Before we went insane, the sky was clear everything was peaceful. The wind was blowing and everything was fine. The gods were the rulers of this world. There were three gods and no one knew their names. The people just knew that those three were their gods and they had to be worshiped. Since they came to the world, everything had changed and people started to not follow most of the rules.

 People started gathering their things and wanted to live in another world. When the gods heard that people were leaving, they started to build a wall around the main town. People were mad because they could not leave. The humans started talking to each other about breaking down the wall and escaping from the gods. The next night, the humans gathered around the wall and tried to destroy it. They noticed the wall was built too well because they were not able to take it down. Nothing was working for the humans when they tried to take the wall down. The only way to escape was the front door that was guarded by the god’s slaves. Everyone that tried to escape failed and got caught by the guards and killed.

 All the humans decided to fight against the slaves. The guards were trained better than the humans. The guards were too strong for the humans and  they started a new war. The guards defeated all the humans and there was none left, only guards and gods. The water turned red because of the human’s blood .

Now only guards and gods live in the new city. The gods knew they needed more people to live in there town, so with their power they created new humans but turned everyone into slaves. They did not notice that the slaves would be born stronger and well-trained. One day, the slaves went to war with the gods and took over the new world. They created their new city. The city had rights and freedom. This is the story of our city and world.
